The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that Milwaukee Tool has issued a recall for its M18 FUEL Top Handle Chainsaw due to a potential laceration hazard.
The recall affects approximately 90,860 units in the U.S. and an additional 7,500 in Canada.
- The chainsaw's chain brake may not activate, posing a risk of injury.
- The recall involves catalog number 2826-20, identifiable by an "A" in the product's serial number.
Consumers are advised to stop using the chainsaw immediately and contact Milwaukee Tool for a free repair.
The chainsaw is designed for use with Milwaukee's M18 batteries and is available with a 12-inch or 14-inch bar.
