California Democrats Urge Citizens to Vote on Prop 50
Assemblymember Gregg Hart, co-author of Proposition 50, encourages people to vote in the Special Election.
In response to Texas adding conservative seats to the House of Representatives, California Democrats, including Hart and State Senator Monique Limón, worked on Prop 50.
"It is a really important election and I'm glad that we are going to be celebrating soon, the polls are still open, we want people to get out and vote,"
said Hart. He wants voters to know that Proposition 50 authorizes temporary changes to Congressional Districts Maps.
- Prop 50 is the only issue on the California Special Election ballot.
- Hart represents the 37th District, which was redistricted.
