Sudan Red Crescent Reports Volunteer Casualties
The Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) announced that 5 volunteers were killed and 3 are missing in North Kordofan state.
According to the SRCS, the incident occurred in the city of Bara, where
social media circulated a video showing the torture and beating of members of the Red Crescent volunteer team, which the organization described as a scene that
shames humanity.
