Raiders' Season Hits New Low as Geno Smith Injured
The Raiders experienced a tough night on Thursday as quarterback Geno Smith sustained an injury during their 10-7 loss to the Broncos.
Smith's Injury and Performance
Smith finished the game with 143 passing yards and one interception. He was hurt on the first play of the fourth quarter while attempting to scramble past Denver's linebacker Nik Bonitto. Bonitto made contact with Smith's right knee, causing him to stumble and fall, followed by a landing on him by Malcolm Roach.
Smith was briefly replaced by Kenny Pickett but returned shortly after, before being listed as questionable to continue with a left quadriceps issue.

Besides Smith's injury, the Raiders also lost guards Dylan Parham and Jackson Powers-Johnson to ankle problems. Coach Pete Carroll indicated that Powers-Johnson is expected to miss a significant amount of time.
