Singapore-based bakery chain Twelve Cupcakes Pte. has officially closed its doors after being placed under provisional liquidation effective 29 October 2025.
The company operated 20 stores across Singapore, but no further details were provided on the reasons behind the closure.
Twelve Cupcakes was founded in 2011 by Daniel Ong, a radio DJ, and Jaime Teo, a former model. The business was later bought by Kolkata-based Dhunseri Group in 2016 for S$2.5 million.
The brand had previously made headlines in 2020 when it was charged for underpaying foreign workers.
The website has since been taken down.
