Two AIs, One Codebase: Why I Run Claude Code and Cursor Side-by-Side

My daily workflow involves using competing AI assistants to build better code through creative tension.

Most mornings, I start with two windows and two assistants to tackle a frustrating problem with the Stark Insider server. On the left, I have VS Code with Claude Code, which is my home base and provides great support. On the other hand, I have Cursor, which is built on VS Code but thinks like an AI product first and an editor second. I often switch between GPT-5 Codex, Auto, or other models to get a different angle. There are also whispers about "stealth" options that may map to bigger-name models, such as the new Gemini 3.
