Let the NAB AFLW Finals Series Begin – This Is November
The highly anticipated 2025 NAB AFLW Finals Series has officially arrived. As the league celebrates its tenth season, the AFL launched the finals series and revealed the Grand Final medal presenters at Yarraville Seddon Eagles FC in Melbourne’s west.
Starting this Friday night, the competition will feature both new contenders and familiar powerhouses. St Kilda and the West Coast Eagles make their first finals appearance, joining the experienced Adelaide Crows and Brisbane Lions. Meanwhile, Melbourne, Carlton, and Hawthorn return to battle for the trophy.
After securing the 2025 minor premiership, the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos aim to defend their title, having taken home the championship last year.
A Historic First for the AFLW Grand Final
For the first time in AFLW history, the captain of the winning Grand Final team will be awarded a dedicated medal, mirroring the Ron Barassi Medal in the AFL.
Hall of Famer Erin Phillips OAM, a three-time premiership player and former co-captain of the Adelaide Crows, who earned two best on ground medals, will present the Captain’s Medal to the victorious captain.
