Michael Dunlop, the 36-year-old rider from Ballymoney, received his MBE at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
The TT's most successful rider was awarded his honour in the King's Birthday Honours for his outstanding contribution to motorcycling and sport.
‘I’m deeply honoured. It’s a privilege to have my work and achievements recognised in this way.’
Dunlop, a 33-time winner, follows in the footsteps of his uncle Joey, who was also made an MBE in 1986 and later received an OBE.
He collected his MBE from King Charles alongside other recipients, including Sir David Beckham, who was knighted on the same day.
