Salem Historical Society’s Veterans Day Open House
The Salem Historical Society will open its doors to the public on Tuesday, Nov. at Freedom Hall, home to the society’s extensive military collection.
The event will feature exhibits highlighting the service and sacrifice of local veterans, including:
- Military uniforms from World War I through Desert Storm
- A signed MIA flag
- Medals
- Photographs of Salem veterans
- Other military artifacts
The doors will be open free to the public from 10 a.m.
Keith Mann, Salem Historical Society volunteer and docent, displays items from the society’s military collection in Freedom Hall.
