Southampton have dismissed manager Will Still after just five months in charge, ending a brief and disappointing spell for the 33-year-old.
The Saints are sitting close to the relegation zone, with only two wins in 13 Championship matches this season.
Still was appointed in May, taking on his first managerial role in English football, but his time at St Mary’s has been marked by poor results.
The club’s latest defeat, a 2-0 loss to Preston North End, left them 21st in the table and prompted boos from the home crowd.
We can confirm that we have this evening parted ways with Men’s First Team Manager Will Still.
Assistants Ruben Martinez, Clement Lemaitre and Carl Martin have also left their roles, with men’s under-21 head coach Tonda Eckert taking over first-team duties on an interim basis.
