Here’s How Houston Did at the 2025 Michelin Ceremony

Michelin Ceremony 2025: Houston's Performance

At the second Michelin Texas guide ceremony, held on October 28 at the Wortham Theater Center, Houston did not gain any new stars but received five new Bib Gourmands.

These restaurants were recognized for offering great food at great prices. Although no new stars were awarded, six Houston restaurants retained their Michelin star from 2024, including BCN Taste & Tradition, Corkscrew BBQ, Le Jardinier, March, Musaafer, and Tatemó.

Houston's failure to receive a new star is bittersweet, with nothing new to celebrate but the retention of existing stars.

Houston also won one of the four special awards, with Elliot Wood of Credence earning the Michelin Outstanding Service Award for exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.

Author's summary: Houston gains Bib Gourmands and service award.
