The Finali Mondiali at Mugello circuit was once again marked by rain, but this did not dampen the Ferrari passion. The event drew a crowd of 50,000 spectators, who came to see nearly 250 Prancing Horse cars on track and in the exhibition area.
The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli crowned its European and North American champions, with the world title deciders to follow. The event featured 100 Ferrari 296 Challenge cars competing, as well as around 80 vehicles from non-competitive programmes, including 50 from the XX Programme.
Rain brings good luck
The five-day event was a celebration of the history and achievements of the Prancing Horse, with packed stands and a lively paddock.
