Ashleigh Gentle, a 10-time consecutive winner, will miss the Noosa Triathlon to focus on her T100 title push.
Freshly minted world champion Matthew Hauser will headline the event after winning gold in the series final in Wollongong.
- Hauser, 27, will participate in a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle, and 10km victory lap.
- Gentle, 34, has won 11 of the past 12 Noosa Triathlons but will not attend due to a scheduling conflict.
Australia's 15-year world championship drought has ended with Hauser's win.
