Explore The Island of Castora Today With The Launch Of Guild Wars 2’s Visions Of Eternity Update
The game’s sixth expansion goes live today, sending players off on a new adventure to Castora, a magically-infused island.
Visions of Eternity takes players to this island, home to castaways and adventurers, with a new story, new skills for the aquatic skimmer mount, and a new homestead map.
The update includes new elite specialization for the game’s professions and introduces four new maps to the free-to-play MMORPG, with the first two being Shipwreck Strand and Starlit Weald.
According to the story, the Tyrian Alliance has received word that the inquest has been looking for the island, which will cause problems for Tyria, and they’re determined to put a stop to the Inquest’s plans.
The update will introduce four new maps and allow for better exploration of the sea with the new skimmer updates.
