Anthony Edwards has hamstring strain, to be re-evaluated in a week

Anthony Edwards' Injury Update

Anthony Edwards, one of the most durable NBA superstars since 2020, has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain.

"I think he'll be alright," teammate Naz Reid said. "We've seen him do that plenty of times before."

An MRI scan revealed the injury, and Edwards will be re-evaluated in a week. His absence is expected to last longer than a week, with an initial estimate of two weeks.

A one-week absence would result in three to four missed games, but it's unlikely Edwards will return that quickly.

Author's summary: Anthony Edwards out with hamstring strain.
