Renew NC Grants Deadline Approaching
The deadline to apply for Renew NC grants is December 31. This state program offers free assistance with home repair and rebuilding for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
“Too many of our neighbors are still living in unsafe or temporary housing after Helene,” said Julia Horrocks, managing attorney at Pisgah Legal Services.
The Renew NC Single-Family Housing Program aims to provide real help for homeowners and have a long-term impact on communities by repairing and rebuilding homes, creating safe and stable housing, and supporting local contractors.
