Frankfurt Book Fair 2025 Records 238,000 Visitors
The 77th edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair saw a total of 238,000 visitors, marking a growth in attendance.
The fair, held from 15-19 October 2025, welcomed 118,000 trade visitors and 120,000 private visitors from 131 countries, surpassing the previous year's numbers.
A total of 4,350 exhibitors were present in the exhibition halls. Juergen Boos, director of the Frankfurt Book Fair, stated:
We can look back on five successful and intense days. Frankfurter Buchmesse remains on course for growth. Once again, we have had more visitors and more exhibitors than in the previous year.
The fair's growth trajectory continues, with a focus on global discourse and a passion for reading across generations.
