The Golden State Warriors aim to end a two-game losing streak against the Indiana Pacers at home. After a strong 4–1 start, the Warriors are now 5–5 on the season.
The Pacers, reigning Eastern Conference champions, hold a 1–8 record this season, with their only win a close 114–109 victory over Golden State just over a week ago.
On Friday, the Warriors fell 129–104 to the Denver Nuggets on the road. Without Stephen Curry, sidelined due to illness, Golden State struggled to match Denver’s offensive firepower.
"Despite Green’s effort, the game was largely uncompetitive as Denver emptied its bench early in the fourth quarter with a comfortable 20-point lead."
Draymond Green was one bright spot, scoring 17 points including five three-pointers, but the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon combined for 67 points.
"Green emphasized the team’s need to improve defensively."
The Warriors look to rebound at home against a struggling Pacers side, hoping to sharpen their defense and return to winning ways.
