Big Brother Boosts Network 10 Ratings

My Kitchen Rules led entertainment with 1.01 million viewers in the national TV audience, comfortably beating its competitors. The return of Big Brother for Network 10 launched strongly, securing second place in its timeslot with 774,000 viewers during its rainy season premiere at Dreamworld.

Big Brother also dominated key demographics, topping both the 16-39 and 25-54 age groups. It surpassed The Golden Bachelor, which drew 708,000 viewers on Nine, and Spicks & Specks with 361,000 viewers.

Later programs included 60 Minutes with 619,000 viewers—below its usual ratings—Portrait Artist of the Year at 553,000, The Girl Who Caught a Killer with 549,000, and Ghosts Australia rising to 492,000 viewers.

Although Seven won the Sunday ratings, Network 10 saw a growth in share not experienced for some time.
