The Vancouver Canucks have officially ended their contract with 25-year-old Russian winger Vitali Kravtsov. General manager Patrik Allvin announced on Tuesday that Kravtsov was placed on unconditional waivers to proceed with contract termination.
Kravtsov attended Vancouver’s training camp in Penticton, B.C., before being assigned to the Abbotsford Canucks, the team's American Hockey League affiliate. There, he recorded one goal and three assists in 10 games.
The Canucks acquired Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in February 2023. However, most of the past two seasons saw him playing for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

Standing six-foot-three and weighing 186 pounds, Kravtsov showed versatility but will no longer be part of the Canucks organization.
