Speaking with Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic, Ingram reflected on his return to the league after a four-year stretch away from consistent play. He admitted that the transition was challenging but motivating.
“It’s about proving to myself that I can still play at a high level and help my team win,” Ingram said.
Bakersfield’s coaching staff praised his work ethic and leadership, noting that his experience brings composure to a young locker room. Ingram has been the team’s anchor during critical moments, showing resilience in tight games.
His immediate goal is clear—build momentum, stack good performances, and put himself in a position to earn another NHL opportunity down the line.
