Inspired by a true story, Lucy Liu delivers a powerful, career-defining performance as a mother facing difficult decisions to protect her troubled teenage son, played by Lawrence Shou. As his dark obsessions intensify and time slips away, she confronts impossible choices about how far she is willing to go and what she might sacrifice.
