Earlier this afternoon, the A251 Ashford Road near Faversham was blocked in both directions after a tree fell across the road, also bringing down power cables.
Kent Police officers attended the scene to assist with traffic management during the disruption.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the blockage caused significant queues between Old Badgins Road (Sheldwich) and Bagshill Road (Badlesmere Lees).
