Delays Clear After Crash on M2
There were long delays on the M2 following a crash near Junction 6 for the A251 towards Faversham. One lane was closed on the London-bound side.
Traffic queues extended back to Junction 6 at Brenley Corner, according to traffic information site Inrix. The site now reports that delays are beginning to ease.
The collision also caused congestion on the westbound A2 at Boughton Bypass. Additionally, London Road and Canterbury Road through Faversham were heavily congested as drivers used alternative routes.
Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
This incident followed earlier significant delays on the A249 in Sittingbourne, heading towards the Isle of Sheppey.
