Tim Burgess has introduced a vintage-inspired souvenir ticket generator before the upcoming 2026 London Merch Market, allowing fans to design their own collectible tickets for any concert — even hypothetical ones.
“We asked the question: 'Would it be possible to recreate any ticket from any show ever, even ones that haven’t happened yet?'”
The Charlatans frontman’s Merch Market, following its successful debut in Manchester, encourages artists to sell merchandise for free while keeping all profits. The next event is scheduled for January 11, 2026, at London’s Troxy.
Ahead of the show, Burgess introduced the generator concept after polling more than 2,000 fans on X/Twitter. Many expressed a wish to have tangible mementos from live gigs, as digital tickets have largely replaced physical ones.
“So many people asked about ticket stubs from Charlatans shows as you don’t get them any more with a link or QR code, so the original idea was to make some printable ticket souvenir stubs for our upcoming dates in September,” Burgess told NME.
Tim Burgess blends nostalgia and innovation by launching a digital tool that lets fans craft their own vintage-style concert tickets before the 2026 London Merch Market.
