On Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory effective until Friday at 10 a.m. for Central Douglas County, Eastern Curry County, Josephine County, and Jackson County.
"Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous."
The advisory means widespread fog has formed, reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less. Drivers should take extreme caution or postpone travel if possible.
Drivers in Southern Oregon should expect extremely low visibility due to dense fog through Friday morning and follow safety precautions when traveling.
