Born Glenn Reed Clifton Jr. on June 6, 1974, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Young Bleed began rapping at the age of nine. In 1995, he joined forces with four Baton Rouge rappers—C-Loc, Max Minelli, J-Von, and Chris Hamilton—to form the group Concentration Camp.
