Lorraine Kelly has commented on Meghan Markle's reported return to acting, admitting she found the Duchess' most famous role somewhat irritating at the time.
The presenter, 65, discussed the news during her daytime show on Thursday morning, highlighting Meghan's move back to acting after a hiatus.
Before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan was best known for her role as lawyer Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits. She starred in the show for seven years, starting from its pilot in 2011. Meghan also appeared in series like CSI: NY, 90210, and Without a Trace.
Sources have revealed that Meghan is preparing to return to acting with a role in Close Personal Friends. She reportedly was on set in Pasadena, Los Angeles, alongside actors such as Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Britt Henry, and Jack Quaid.
"Suits was really good, I thought she was a wee bit...her character was a bit annoying. That wasn't her fault, it was the character, but she can do whatever she wants."
Despite her reservations about the role, Lorraine emphasized that Meghan is free to pursue any career path she chooses.
Summary: Lorraine Kelly expressed mixed feelings about Meghan Markle’s acting return, finding her previous role somewhat annoying but respecting her freedom to choose her career path.
