STV will broadcast a special live programme from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow on Friday, showcasing the achievements of the STV Children’s Appeal throughout 2025.
Lorraine Kelly, a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since its beginning, will host the show. She will meet people who have supported the charity and those who have directly benefited from its projects over the past year.
Before the broadcast, Lorraine Kelly was seen wearing a kilt and scarf featuring a distinct tartan design created by the Paisley-based family firm Houston Kiltmakers.
The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan, made earlier this year, incorporates the charity's pink, yellow, and blue color scheme and was developed specifically to raise funds for the Appeal.
“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
The programme will shine a light on three distinct projects supported by the STV Children’s Appeal during the year, underscoring the ongoing impact of the charity’s work.
