The legendary rock band AC/DC announced their Power Up tour earlier this year, marking their first Australian homecoming in ten years. When tickets for the Melbourne Cricket Ground show on November 12 went on sale, demand was so intense that promoters added a second and final date on November 16.
Both performances are available through Ticketek, with a limited number of new tickets released due to production adjustments. Fans are urged to act quickly, as these new seats are expected to disappear fast.
After dominating Europe with over two million tickets sold across 24 performances and following 10 sold-out North American shows, AC/DC are finally bringing their thunderous live experience back to their home crowd.
The band wrapped up their Cleveland concert in May before launching into a massive European leg that began in Prague on June 26 and rolled through cities from Estonia to Scotland.

Founding member Angus Young continues to lead with his blazing guitar work, joined by vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney.
Melbourne’s own punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers will support all tour dates, fresh off their widely praised album Cartoon Darkness.
AC/DC’s Power Up tour brings the band’s electrifying show home to Australia, with extra Melbourne tickets now available after record-breaking global demand.
