Three inmates at HMP Wakefield have been charged with the murder of Kyle Bevan, who was found dead in his cell on November 5.
Mark Fellows, 45, Lee Newell, 56, and David Taylor, 63, were arrested and formally charged with murder following Bevan's death. All three men are serving sentences at HMP Wakefield.
Kyle Bevan, aged 33, was serving a life sentence with a minimum term of 28 years. He was convicted for a "sustained, deliberate and very violent" assault on two-year-old Lola James in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, in July 2020.
"Three men, who are all serving prisoners, have been arrested on suspicion of murder."
