The comedian Alan Carr, 49, won the competitive show after a tense final on Thursday night, managing to conceal his Traitor role from the Faithful participants.
Following the episode’s broadcast, Alan Carr publicly apologized to his friend Paloma Faith on Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked for "murdering" her on the show in plain sight.
During the spin-off program featuring the star-studded cast, Alan admitted feeling deep guilt for deceiving his friends, especially for eliminating close friend Paloma, 44.
He chose the pregnant singer as his first victim by touching her face with the pollen from a fake poisoned lily, which left her angry at the betrayal.
“The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside. And you've got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone's face.”
Attempting to justify himself, Alan told host Ed Gamble he felt “awful” about the act and claimed he had no choice but to pick Paloma.
Alan Carr triumphed on Celebrity Traitors despite feeling guilty about deceiving and eliminating close friend Paloma Faith early in the game.
