Report: Orioles Sign Outfielder Leody Taveras

Free agent outfielder Leody Taveras is joining the Baltimore Orioles on a one-year, $2 million contract, according to reports by Jon Heyman of the New York Post and Spanish broadcaster Mike Rodriguez.

The 27-year-old switch-hitting centerfielder had a challenging 2025 season, batting .205 with three home runs, 17 RBIs, and a .530 OPS across 58 games with Seattle and Texas. He also stole nine bases in 12 attempts.
