Hilary Duff on Her Return to Music
Hilary Duff opened up about her return to the music scene and revealed details about her upcoming single This Is What Y2K Dreams Are Made Of. Earlier this week, she announced the release of her new song, “Mature,” set for November 6 — marking her first music since the 2015 album Breathe In.
Returning to the Studio
During a conversation with host Jake Shane on the Season Two finale of the Therapuss podcast, Duff reflected on her music comeback.
“It was always going to happen. There’s no way that that was not going to be a part of my story.”
Now 38 years old, after a decade away from music, she feels ready to reconnect with her audience and share her current life experiences.

Duff expressed a strong desire to reconnect with longtime fans, many of whom have followed her since childhood.
“I have this crazy connection with fans that I’ve known since I was nine, 10 years old, and I just want to connect with them again.”
