Police confirmed that more than twenty people were arrested following a chaotic Bonfire Night in Birmingham on November 5. The unrest continued into the early hours of November 6, with reports of fireworks deliberately aimed at officers and the public, as well as weapons being seized.

To prevent further disturbance, a Section 60 order remained active through the night, granting officers broader search powers. Police stated that this action directly resulted in the confiscation of dangerous items and arrests of those responsible for the violent acts.
